“Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is a comprehensive, integrative psychotherapy approach. It contains elements of many effective psychotherapies in structured protocols that are designed to maximize treatment effects. These include psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, interpersonal, experiential, and body-centered therapies.

“EMDR psychotherapy is an information processing therapy and uses an eight phase approach to address the experiential contributors of a wide range of pathologies. It attends to the past experiences that have set the groundwork for pathology, the current situations that trigger dysfunctional emotions, beliefs and sensations, and the positive experience needed to enhance future adaptive behaviors and mental health.”  Click here for more information.

Dream Dancing©

Dreams are an important part of our lives, even for those who believe they don’t dream or don’t remember their dreams. In many cultures the dream time is more real than the day state because we don’t experience all of our judgments, perceptions, and ego thoughts to get in the way. That’s why dreams can seem so odd when we wake up. Usually people are afraid of nightmares, but those are often the voice of some part of you that is trying to get your attention when you haven’t been listening or are too confused by your day time perceptions, assumptions, expectations, etc.

Dreams are the deep unconscious, yet unmet part of ourSelf that wants some attention, needs to be heard. We can unpack the dream, take out the day state confusion, and hear what the path really needs to be. Also available for workshops/groups.
